Don’t Be Afraid

Swami Vivekananda - Wandering Monk

“Fear is death, fear is sin, fear is hell, fear is unrighteousness. All the negative thoughts and ideas that are in this world have proceeded from this evil spirit of fear. The moment you fear, you are nobody. It is fear that is the greatest cause of misery in the world. It is fear that is the greatest of all superstitions. It is fear that is the cause of our woes, and it is fearlessness that brings heaven in a moment. And at the root of all fear is lack of clarity of thought which in most cases comes from simply not knowing!

There is only one sin-and that sin is weakness. When I was a boy, I read Milton’s Paradise Lost. The only good man I had any respect for was Satan. The only saint is the soul who never weakens, faces everything, and determines to die game.
The great secret of true success, of true happiness, is this: the man or woman who asks for no return, the perfectly unselfish person, is the most successful”.

Talking About Fear

Fear is indeed the mother and root cause of all miseries of life. All the disturbances and stress in people's life is seen as a result of some kind of fear. Let me tell you this -no body fears of death all the time, do you? I know - you Dont! and I know your answer to my question will always be - No. While we all know that Death, is the hard truth of life that we all will face someday, we do not think about death all time, do we? We don't. We have other things to keep our thoughts focused on. We think of earning more respect, we think of our jobs, we think of our bills and we think of our future all the time. When we keep thinking about a certain disturbance or a problem we do not realize the damage that is caused to ourselves. Most of us believe that by thinking more and more on a particular problem will lead us to its solution, which sometimes does happen, but not all time. The truth is, we all know that being afraid of something or living in any sort of fear may have harmful effects on our mind, our body and our soul. But then, why is that - Someone is more happier than the other or someone is more worried than the other?

My dear friend, I want to tell you that you have enough strength in yourself to come out of all miseries of life and live freely for ever. We are not inborn sinners and I want to inform you that fear is a just a state of mind. You will not achieve anything by being feared. Fortunately, you there is a way out. The way lies in your will. Today take up this one idea that you will Arise and being awakened, you will not stop, till your goal is achieved.  Make this one idea your life.

Consider following the below mentioned practices for the next 21 days:

Fill your mornings with abundance of happiness

Before leaving the bed-Close your eyes for 10 minutes and say this to yourselves: I am going to enjoy my work today and I shall be happy today. I am going to be very happy toady. When you incorporate this attitude into your morning routine, you will feel and notice its magnificent benefits throughout the whole day.

Caution - while you are doing this - You have to Believe, that you will be happy in whatever you do today. This is really very important, and I seriously emphasize on this point - You Believe that this day, is gonna make you happier than yesterday. Initially it will not be possible to believe and would not make any sense to you. But if seriously, you start doing this without attaching much thoughts to it - You will start living your dreams.

Be Thankful

This is one of the greatest secret, that I have learned from one of bestselling books, across the world, The Secret, a wonderful and life transforming book written by Rhonda Byrne. I have learned from her book that being thankful to every person whether he/she is your friend or anybody who hates you or your work, will become your fan. That happens when you develop the Attitude Of Gratitude, by being thankful to all those people who help you. I have seen it happening and I experience the benefits daily. I am telling you-it works. Be thankful to people, be thankful to the nature, and be thankful to everything that makes your life easier be it your TV, Chair, tables, fan, and all other things that makes your life comfortable to any extent. Be truly thankful from your heart, to all those persons/banks/any financial institution who lends you money and you will see that you have built up such a relation where paying back their money is one of easiest thing in the world.

Again - Everything lies on your belief, that this attitude will make you happy.
